Gooch Family Dental is a family owned (non-corporate!) dental practice that has been passionately serving our community with a “different kind of dentistry” since 2007. Through an intentional and unmatched patient experience, our 4 doctors and 11 hygienists provide a full spectrum of services including periodontal care, implants, endodontic treatments, clear aligners, cosmetic work and oral conscious sedation. Our Team is central in our efforts towards making a difference in our community. Our culture, built on core values, is our skeleton, with each department working in harmony like members of the body. Responsibilities

• Participate in the collaborative leadership of the doctor and assistant teams
• Be goal-oriented, with attention to detail and initiative to work for the greater good of the team
• Perform general dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, crowns and anterior root canals (posterior is a bonus!
• Conduct routine dental examinations and provide preventive care
- Develop treatment plans and confidently discuss them with patients


• Administer anesthetics to patients to minimize pain during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and proper dental care techniques

Our office is growing and so is our hygiene team! We recently added to our team of doctors and with that comes the need for additional expertise in our hygiene department. You're the RDH we are looking for if you are comfortable in a patient centric and team oriented environment.

Requirements:

• You have an active and valid Alabama Dental Hygiene License.
• You have an active CPR certification and up to date Infection Control hours.
• You are excited to be in an ever-changing, ever-growing environment.

Who you’d be working with:

Jess and Jenny Are our Hygiene Team Leaders. They are gentle and sweet, but are incredibly driven providers and educators.

Deb is our Office Director and passionate about constantly raising the level of care our hygiene team is able to provide to our patients - through extensive periodontal, hands-on training and patient education training. She is an overall support for you and leader of the office, to carry out the vision Dr Gooch has for our practice!

We also have an incredible team of 11 other hygienists who are all phenomenal!
