Dr. Taylor Duncan is dedicated to providing a comfortable experience and treats each of his patients as if they are family. He is committed to a lifetime of extensive continuing education courses covering topics from dental implants to oral conscious sedation.
Dr. Claire Wood loves being able to combine her passion for science and artistic creativity in her work as a dentist. Working at Gooch Family Dental allows her to provide superior, technology-focused treatment all within a comfortable, relaxing office environment.
Dr. Burton Gooch has been a practicing dentist for over 15 years and is devoted to the well-being of his patients. He has a genuine passion for learning more about all aspects of dentistry and participates in monthly continuing education courses.

Insurance
We work with most dental insurance providers, and our staff is happy to answer any questions about your benefits. We'll always try to maximize your coverage to minimize your out-of-pocket costs.
CareCredit
We accept CareCredit, a third-party dental financing company endorsed by the American Dental Association, to make our services accessible to all Birmingham patients. Patients who qualify can pay for their care in affordable monthly installments.
Membership Plans
Sign up for our membership plan, and just one yearly payment will cover all preventive dentistry treatments and give you access to discounted prices on restorative procedures. Our plans have no deductibles, no annual maximums, no preapprovals, and no waiting periods.
